Poll Street is a cheerful community project that puts fun, uncontroversial polls on a big screen in our shop window. Walk past, spot the question, scan the QR code with your phone, and cast your vote in seconds — no app needed, no sign-up required.
We started Poll Street because we believe the Buck Lane should be a place where people feel connected, not just to the shops but to each other. Our polls are light-hearted conversation starters: favourite seasons, best pizza toppings, tea or coffee — the questions that spark a smile.
How It Works
A 40-inch portrait display in our shop window shows a rotating set of poll questions, results, fun facts, and community messages. Each poll has a unique QR code that refreshes regularly. When you scan it, your phone opens a simple voting page. Tap your answer, see live results, and carry on with your day.
Who We Are
Poll Street is run by a small team of locals who love our Buck Lane. We are based in town and built this project from scratch because we thought it would be a fun way to bring a bit of life to the neighbourhood.
